About the Role

As a Front-End Web Developer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing solutions that drive Eventbrite’s business forward. Your primary focus will be on React-based web applications built with GatsbyJS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring the seamless integration of new technologies and optimizing the user experience.

Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Service Design teams, enabling them to deliver a top-notch experience for our customers. What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement front-end solutions using React and GatsbyJS
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize user experience
  • Write and review clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Support system integrations and implement new web technologies
  • Conduct website audits to ensure consistency and performance
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for seamless knowledge sharing
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in front-end development
  • Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux and shell scripting
  • Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with SEO & User Engagement strategies
  • Familiarity with AWS and AWS CLI
  • Knowledge of AI systems & Large Language Models (LLM)

Salary & Compensation

The compensation for this role is based on experience, skills, and other factors. The estimated salary range is:

$82,800 – $149,000 USD per year

Additionally, you may be eligible for performance-based incentives, equity, and bonus programs.
