Role Overview: DeFi Marketing Lead

We are seeking a DeFi Marketing Lead to join our marketing team and drive the growth of DeFi projects launching on Arbitrum. In this role, you will combine traditional marketing strategies with Web3-native growth techniques to ensure the success of our partners. Your primary goal is to increase active wallets, boost liquidity, and support project growth through strategic marketing initiatives.

As a key part of our team, you will consult with partners, run growth campaigns, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to expand the Arbitrum DeFi ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for DeFi projects on Arbitrum using Web2 and Web3 marketing techniques, including social media campaigns, digital marketing, influencer activations, NFTs, token incentives, and content crossovers.
  • Design and implement Web3 incentive-based campaigns that align with partners’ goals and attract new users.
  • Serve as a strategic consultant for partner projects, helping them navigate user acquisition, liquidity growth, and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including community, partnerships, and product marketing, to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns.
  • Work closely with Offchain Labs to provide feedback that shapes the product roadmap and contributes to the DeFi ecosystem’s expansion.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with partners and industry stakeholders, assisting with go-to-market (GTM) plans, industry research, and strategic problem-solving.
  • Create and refine best practices for DeFi growth programs, ensuring scalability and consistent results.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong understanding of DeFi and Web3, with previous experience preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in growth marketing, account management, or ecosystem development, with a track record in both Web2 and Web3 growth strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of the DeFi ecosystem, including liquidity management, yield farming, and decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
  • Ability to analyze and optimize the DeFi user funnel and improve cross-platform user journeys.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with experience collaborating with partners and external stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working independently while proactively seeking guidance when needed.
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones in a globally distributed team.
  • Fluent in English, with strong storytelling and content creation skills.
