About the Role

Thaloz is seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer with a strong background in React, modern JavaScript, and cloud environments like AWS. You’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative engineering team focused on delivering scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications. This is a fully remote opportunity, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to impactful, real-world projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end web applications using React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
  • Translate design mockups into responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Integrate applications with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, ECS, and Route53.
  • Optimize performance using CDN strategies and front-end best practices.
  • Implement unit testing and automated testing to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in Agile processes including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Review code, provide feedback, and maintain code quality standards.
  • Debug and resolve production issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Contribute to the architectural decisions and technical discussions of the product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience building scalable web applications and APIs.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript with expertise in Node.js and React.
  • Hands-on experience with TypeScript in large-scale applications.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and modern development workflows.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services including API Gateway, S3, Lambda, and EC2.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
  • Experience using testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
