Vellex is looking for a creative and motivated UI/UX Designer with strong frontend development skills to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engaging user experiences and transforming those designs into functional, responsive front-end code.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, and deliver user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for our web applications.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback to improve the user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality designs.
  • Convert UI/UX designs into responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Maintain and enhance Vellex’s design system to ensure consistency across all products.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in UI/UX, frontend technologies, and best practices in the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in UI/UX design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend development.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
  • Ability to create detailed wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-driven and detail-oriented with a passion for building seamless user experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and mobile-first responsive design principles.
  • Interest in sustainable technology and clean energy sectors.
